Job Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehousing Supervisor will be responsible for leading our Warehouse Team at Lichfield St and for the inwards and outwards flow of our goods and materials.
You will be leading, motivating and training teams while also having strong problem-solving skills and ensure all stages of the workflow operate seamlessly together.
This is a varied role which will see you managing and participating in day-to-day operational activities, chipping in with auditing and processing of stock, receipting, pricing and repacking as well as working closely with our vendors and all Ballantynes customers, external and internal.
Successful Candidate
To be successful you will have the following attributes :
Minimum intermediate proficiency with Microsoft suite of applications and knowledge of inventory platforms
Demonstrable leadership and staff management skills
Experience in a warehousing or inwards / outward goods environment
An interest in the retail sector
Ability to learn the role and take ownership of it
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Class 2 licence and a current Forklift licence would be advantageous.
Additional Information
This role is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm, however some flexibility may be required at peak times.
