An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Children and Young People’s Therapy Team in Buckland Hospital, Dover. Main duties of the job

Experience

Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience Relevant paediatric experience at undergraduate/post graduate level Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy HCPC registration Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development Evidence of relevant post graduate training in paediatrics Knowledge

Knowledge of the principles of clinical governance Experience of being involved with clinical audit/service improvement Evidence of advanced clinical reasoning skills Ability to assess for and prescribe specialist equipment for children/young people with complex presentations The ability to converse easily and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for all customer-facing roles. Most positions require a Disclosure and Barring check and will be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
