Main duties of the job
Applicants will be able to evidence post-graduate experience in the fields of acute stroke care and stroke rehabilitation. They will also have experience of the in and out-patient rehabilitation of patients with a wide range of other neurological conditions. Applicants will be responsible, along with the rest of the senior team, for supervising more junior physiotherapists, TI's, and assistants based within the team. Job responsibilities
The Trust provides clinical placements for students from Sheffield and Nottingham, and applicants will have experience of supporting students on undergraduate placements. The Trust is committed to supporting and developing staff through appraisals and the supervision process. Senior staff have individual supervision and peer support as well as access to training. This post will require a Disclosure & Barring Service check. Please note that successful external candidates will be required to pay for their own DBS Disclosure.
