The successful candidate will have a significant role in the provision of family therapy, offering clinical supervision and consultation, developing and leading on appropriate training, in addition to being a key member of our multidisciplinary team to support our systemic thinking and formulations. Involvement in developing and maintaining clinical skills within the wider team and service development will form a key part of this role. Regular supervision will be provided. Qualifications
A recognised post graduate Family Therapy or equivalent qualification at level of Masters or higher academic award A professional qualification in a relevant regulated profession eligible under the Mental Health Measure (Wales) 2010 e.g. nursing, social work, clinical psychology UKCP registration as a family/systemic Psychotherapist Highly developed knowledge of systemic theory and practice Knowledge of research design and methodology as practised within the field of family therapy Knowledge of legislation and its implications for both clinical practice and professional management in relation to this client group i.e. children Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the UKCP/AFT Additional relevant academic and/or accredited therapeutic qualification Experience
