Job Summary:

SLB Production Chemistry provides chemical solutions to the oil and gas industry ensuring optimal production from wellhead to refinery. The SLB technical services team requires a lab engineer / chemist to perform product performance evaluations and routine analyses of field samples. This role involves the handling and manipulation of chemicals and as such applicants must be familiar with standard wet chemistry and analytical techniques. In addition to a strong scientific background, applicants should be excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, and work well in teams. Previous experience working with oilfield production chemicals (corrosion / scale / wax inhibitors & demulsifiers) is highly desirable. Successful candidates will be expected to maintain high QHSE standards, keep accurate records and prepare clear and concise technical reports. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Process lab requests Technical report writing Database management Maintaining calibration records for equipment Use COSHH and risk assessments for all chemicals and tasks performed in the lab and maintaining tests protocols. Qualifications:

BSc. in CHEMISTRY or physical science Minimum of 3 years chemical lab experience Working knowledge of oilfield production chemistry Why you should join us:
