You must have previous experience of working in medical staffing function; working knowledge of electronic rostering packages and experience of supervising/leading a team. You will need to have great skills in prioritising, scheduling and planning, like to work as part of a team and care about providing excellent customer service. The work we do is varied and can be fast paced at times but it is also rewarding and appreciated. Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities of the successful candidate are: Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship of the medical staffing administrative team. Day to day operational supervision to include reprioritising and allocating work as appropriate to ensure efficient and effective admin support to our medical workforce. Manage and coordinate the on-boarding of our rotational doctors in training. Support the development of complex rotas across the Trust. Work collaboratively with the Trust's ESR / E-Rostering Leads to embed the use of E-Rostering for medical staff. We will support you with training and a period of on-boarding will be provided. Qualifications

Educated to degree level / equivalent level of experience. Qualification in Leadership/Management. Experience

Experience of managing a team throughout the lifecycle of a team. Experience at a senior level of processes relating to the employment of medical / dental staff within the NHS. Experience of relevant information systems and software packages such as ESR, E-Pay, E-Roster, E-Rota. Experience in Managing Doctors in Training rotations. Experience of project management. Experience of analysing and reporting from statistical information. Experience of delivering training courses. Experience of dealing with agencies to procure locum doctors and dentists. Skills

Knowledge of NHS Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions of Service, as well as NHS Pre-employment Check Standards and recruitment / selection processes relating to medical and dental staff. Demonstrate previous experience of being able to motivate a team. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel. Self-confident and have the ability to be assertive. Excellent communication skills including interpersonal and influencing skills. Ability to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines. Able to work independently and on own initiative.
