Criminal Enforcement Officer: Intelligence Analyst - Home working flexibility (Apply in minutes)

Criminal Enforcement Officer - Intelligence Analyst

Salary: £32,645 per annum plus benefits

Location: Home working with occasional travel within the UK

Contract: Full time Permanent

REF: 379208

We are currently looking for a Criminal Enforcement Officer - Intelligence Analyst to join our Criminal Enforcement Unit in the Safety & Surveillance group.

In public health terms, it is likely that the illegal trade in medicines is the cause of significant, often largely unreported, harm to the UK public. The MHRA is one of a very small number of regulators globally equipped with a dedicated criminal enforcement capability. The CEU works in partnership with cross-sector partners at home and abroad to defeat the illegal trade - protecting the public and maintaining regulatory integrity.

Within a week of working here, your day could look like this:

Contributing to the delivery of strategic and tactical criminal threat reduction interventions. Embracing a flexible approach to work to meet demand across the function and wider CEU. Supporting and contributing to the delivery of projects and portfolio responsibilities.

Our successful candidates will have experience in the following areas:

Recent experience in a criminal or regulatory enforcement background. Using information and intelligence to direct tactical plans and allocate resources to tackle crime. Coordinating the receipt, evaluation and dissemination of intelligence, highlighting and managing risk and threat where appropriate. Collecting, researching and developing intelligence on strategic and tactical threats.

Closing date: 6th December 2024
