Our largest UK site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst to join the BioAnalysis team using LCMS techniques. As the Laboratory Analyst, you will work as part of a team alongside other lab analysts, study managers and project managers. You will perform sample preparation and extraction for analysis, following strict method guidelines. You will then process the data and perform additional analysis depending on the results obtained. Finally, you will have responsibility for SOP (standard operating procedure) writing as well as working on process improvement projects for the division to ensure the best possible service is delivered. B.Sc. or equivalent. Qualifications may be substituted for relevant work experience. Experience:

Ideally experience of using or knowledge of LCMS techniques and pipetting experience. This can be trained if familiar with other analytical techniques. An understanding of health and safety policies and of GMP/GLP/GCP regulations. The post holder should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and integrate well within an established and fast growing team. Computing skills, including word processing and use of spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office packages and Microsoft Project).
