Senior Staff Nurse Haywards Heath Hospital | Nursing | Permanent contract | Full time Up to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience 37.5 hours per week
Main duties of the job
Lead by example and be an ambassador for the Nuffield Health way of caring
Recognise talent and nurture junior colleagues, mentoring them to be the best they can be
Use your excellent clinical skills and empathetic approach to meet each patient's needs
Enjoy autonomy to make decisions that ensure excellent patient care
Provide day-to-day supervision, including clinical supervision of junior nursing staff and students
Contribute to scheduling and rotas, recruitment, induction, performance reviews and training
About us Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital opened in 1993 and is close to the centre of Haywards Heath. The hospital provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures through to major surgical specialties. With three operating theatres (one laminar flow), comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner, an excellent onsite pre-assessment clinic, physiotherapy department, and 26 en-suite rooms on the ward, we are proud of our consistently high standards of patient care delivered by our fantastic team throughout the whole patient journey.
Job responsibilities As a Senior Staff Nurse at our hospital, you are registered with the appropriate governing body and hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC. In addition to post-registration experience, you bring knowledge of mentoring and multi-specialty surgical procedures. Ideally, you hold qualifications in teaching and assessment, and management.
