Qualifications/Training
Registered Children's Nurse Achievement of clinical skills of practice and a willingness to develop skills and knowledge Demonstrate professional development pre and post-registration Knowledge and Experience
Experience of working with children and families within a health care setting or similar environment. Experience of working with children and young people with developmental delay and/or complex health needs. Evidence of continuous professional development. Participation in data collection and audit activities Experience of carrying out clinical procedures e.g. venepuncture. Knowledge of audit process and experience of undertaking audit and presenting findings. Previous pre and post registration experience caring for children in a hospital setting.
