I am looking for an experienced Registered Nursing Home Manager to lead a fabulous nursing home near Walton on Thames, Surrey. This boutique luxury home is a purpose-built, modern facility offering residential and nursing care. It has 30 large bedroom suites and also features a therapy and exercise room and a stunning, octagonal glass public cafe.

In this Registered Manager's role you will:

Provide leadership and direction to the home’s staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion and empathy. Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a team of skilled care professionals who are committed to delivering person-centred care. Ensure that the home meets all regulatory requirements, including those set by the CQC, and maintain excellent standards of care and support. Manage the home’s budget, ensuring that financial targets are met and costs are effectively managed. Develop and implement a well-thought-out marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the home’s services to potential residents, families, and stakeholders. Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and all stakeholders, responding effectively to their needs and concerns. Have oversight of all records to ensure that the home’s administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Continuously monitor and evaluate the home’s performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary. Manage and mitigate risks effectively, ensuring that the home is a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.

For this Registered Manager's role you must have:

Previous experience of managing a nursing home. A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding. Good communication skills and can maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors. A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home. Enthusiasm and passion for developing high level of person-centred care. Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service. NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience is desirable but not essential. For more information on this role, please call Elite Care on (phone number removed).
