An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, compassionate, and enthusiastic qualified Band 5 Staff Nurse (Registered Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses) to work within the Neuropsychiatry inpatient service on Ward 2, Walkergate Park. The regional service supports individuals who have neurological disorders such as Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, MS, and TBI, requiring specialist neuropsychiatry input. Presenting with a range of physical, cognitive, communication, and emotional problems as well as challenging behaviours, we aim to provide a secure and low stimulus environment suitable for comprehensive assessments including nursing, medical, psychology, OT, physio, SALT, and dietetics. Successful applicants must have a strong commitment to the delivery of high-quality, safe patient care and an interest in working within neurological care in a challenging but rewarding environment. Post registration clinical experience Successfully completed the OSCE exam Knowledge and Experience
