Significant level of experience within mental health community services as OT. Able to work to own initiative but within scope and boundaries of own skills and remit of team. Able to undertake OT assessment to identify strengths and challenges of clients' functional abilities. Able to effectively assess risk and manage risk through both direct work and onward referral. Experience designing and undertaking brief recovery focused interventions, psychoeducation, etc., to meet individual needs identified at assessment. Effective communication skills with clients, MDT, and wider stakeholders. Ability to work flexibly engaging with and supporting service developments. Car driver with access to own car for work purposes and business insurance. Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
