A fantastic opportunity for an Endoscopy Clinical Educator has become available at South Tees Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the Unit Manager and Senior Nursing Team to deliver continued education and training for staff of all experience and ability. You will work in a high-paced, diverse service, offering diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will build close working relationships with the Northern Endoscopy Training Academy and North Tees Trust to ensure staff are supported in their development and competencies. You will be required to work across 3 sites, including The James Cook Hospital, Redcar Primary Care Hospital, and the newly built state-of-the-art Endoscopy Department at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton. Main Duties of the Job
The Endoscopy Service across South Tees Trust has an exciting opportunity to appoint a dynamic and proactive leader as our dedicated Endoscopy Clinical Educator. We are looking for an individual with a keen interest in education and development, who has previous experience in the endoscopy setting. You will work closely with the Northern Endoscopy Training Academy (NETA), as well as the Trust Clinical Educators and internal and external teams, to develop and deliver up-to-date training and support. The candidate must have previous endoscopy experience, exceptional communication skills, and an interest in self-development and progression. Your main role will be to support the development of the clinical teams, ensuring strong working relationships are formed and upheld with staff of all skill sets and experience. We deliver an extensive and diverse service, including both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, involving gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy including EBUS, Endoscopy Ultrasound guided fine-needle aspiration, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and Spyglass procedures. Registered Nurse/ODP Qualified Diploma or Foundation Degree in Nursing Evidence of continued professional development Willing to undergo training as necessary Attendance at the leadership and development improvement programme (4.5 days) Degree or Masters Experience

Ability to teach, supervise, and assess registered and unregistered staff Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines while paying attention to detail Personal Attributes
