We have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Associate to join our Primary Care team at HMP Kirkham, a

category D Prison located in Lancashire. HMP Kirkham is an open prison for males that has a strong focus on rehabilitation, allowing inmates to gain qualifications and join workshops. Hours: Monday - Friday - 0800 - 1900 Weekends & Bank Holidays - 0800 - 1200 37.5 hours per week Salary: This position is full time, with an annual salary from £28,247 up to £32,346 per annum FTE - depending on experience. Main duties of the job

As a Registered Nurse Associate, your responsibilities will vary. You will: Provide outstanding care to our patients, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalized and informed by what matters to them. Contribute to and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics, as well as assisting patients with activities of daily living and personal care. Deliver non-judgemental care, involving anything from health promotion clinics and observations to supporting the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care within healthcare centres and on wings and house blocks. Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, partners, and stakeholders, providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within, and feel proud of. Promote best practice, evidence-based care, and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning. Qualified Nurse Associate Currently registered with the NMC Training to level 3 in the safeguarding of vulnerable people Demonstrate current/recent preceptorship pathway since joining the NMC register Evidence of post-registration CPD in areas relating to current practice Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
