We are recruiting for a Clinical Support Worker and Technician to join our team. The purpose of this role is to support the remote monitoring of patients on the virtual ward, support installation and maintenance of TEC equipment, support delivery of short-term loan equipment, and provide Health Care Assistant support to patients who are in their own homes and care homes supported by telehealth technology. The post holder will be expected to work across the whole of the Isle of Wight together with close liaison and cross working with mainland providers. They will be required to communicate with a broad range of clinical staff across different primary care and acute clinical services, as well as with patients, carers, and the general public. Main duties of the job

This is a key supporting role; with the post holder having responsibility (under the direct supervision of registered practitioners) for assessing customers' remote monitoring capability and identifying the support needed to assist vulnerable people to live independently in their own homes through the provision of a Telehealth care service. The post holder is also responsible for monitoring patients and will escalate concerns regarding patients' physical or psychological needs, or changes in their clinical condition to a registered practitioner within appropriate time frames. The post holder will support the successful implementation and use of Assistive Technology i.e., Telehealth, Telecare, and Telemedicine within different services, focusing on supporting Primary Care and collaborating with Community Services, Care Providers, Social Services, and acute settings.
