NHS Ayrshire & Arran - Home (nhsaaa.net) Position An opportunity has arisen for a Discharge Lounge Staff Nurse based at University Hospital Crosshouse. What you will do: As a member of the team, you will work closely with the wards and other departments to ensure effective flow throughout the hospital site. You will work closely with the Discharge Hub staff and other partnerships to ensure a safe and efficient discharge pathway to the community. With minimal supervision and in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will be accountable for the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care for a defined caseload of patients working within the professional standards held in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct. Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job: Post holder will be a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. Substantial post-registration experience relevant to the specialty. Working knowledge of General Hospitals Division policies and Procedures. Ability to keep relevant skills/knowledge updated and documented. Hours: 1 st

post: 22.3 hours permanent 2 nd

post: 27 hours permanent The Discharge Lounge is open Monday to Friday from the hours of 0800-2000 hours. The hours will be flexible to meet the demands of the service. This includes Public Holidays. If you want to find out more about the role,
