As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the company. Your primary responsibilities will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts ensuring all data is complete and accurate Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations Reviewing P&L nominals each month end Being a point of contact for auditors during the audit, providing reconciliations and dealing with queries on balance sheet and P&L items Preparing quarterly VAT submissions Preparing cash flow data based on receipts due and accounts payable balances Ensuring timely payment of invoices based on cash flow data Enhancing current reconciliations to ensure less risk of human error and automate where possible What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Financial Accountant role is a fully qualified ACA accountant with strong experience in reconciliations. You should have previous managerial or supervisory experience, ideally in a role such as an audit senior position. A solid understanding of the day-to-day processes within a finance function is essential. Strong communication skills are required for this role, as well as the ability to adapt to an entrepreneurial environment.
