Prepare monthly financial and KPI reports, perform account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger, including audit trail support for all journal entries. Conduct analytical reviews and analysis of financial data, generate monthly trend reports, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring financial statement accuracy and investigating variances. Prepare and reconcile all bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies. Prepare and analyse account reconciliations, research and resolve invoice discrepancies. Assist with annual reviews/audit preparation and complete all HMRC filings and returns. Undertake monthly VAT returns. Support the sales team with customer tender completions, product costing exercises, and product bill of materials. Perform all related accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policy and procedures. Implement and strengthen processes and controls to improve reporting and accounting accuracy. Develop, mentor, and oversee the purchase ledger and sales ledger teams, including providing hands-on support. Support various ad hoc projects, influence senior leadership, and analyse scenarios with a solution-oriented mindset. Develop reporting suite to support good decision-making and highlight focus areas. What We Offer in Return:
