Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional support to both patients and staff. This position requires strong organizational skills and a passion for delivering quality patient care in a professional environment. Job Responsibilities Assist physician in ensuring all aspects of charting are up to date and completed. Transcribe verbal patient communication on behalf of MD. Assist in EMR rollout. Provide worksheets and stamp to physician prior to commencing his or her shift start. Act as a liaison between the physicians and nurses, providing them with relevant updates as needed. Transcribe verbal conversation from the physician to the patient in EMR without signing name to chart; physicians review/revise conversation and sign off on documentation. Maintain a friendly demeanor with patients while enforcing the rules and policies of the workplace. Remind patients about in-house pharmacy, self-management, and other programs. Prepare and print all necessary paperwork. Train new staff as needed. Attend meetings as required and report performance to Senior Management. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Qualifications A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an administrative role; clinic experience preferred. Proficiency with medical (EMR) software preferred. CPR/First Aid certification preferred. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work from other clinic locations occasionally required. Job Type:
