Academics Doncaster are excited to share with you a new opportunity for a full-time and part-time Nursery Nurse Cache Level 3 to join a friendly family-run private Nursery on the Goldthorpe side of Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This role is ideal for a Nursery Nurse seeking more responsibility, as the Nursery will support good practitioners in their progression. November starts onwards, flexible supply roles and long-term placements are potentially available, with the opportunity for the right candidate to secure a permanent position.
Situated within a beautiful village on the edge of Doncaster towards Goldthorpe and Mexborough, January starts offer full and part-time opportunities. It is more about the right candidate.

This nursery is in an exciting position where they are expanding and keen to secure Nursery Nurses for two sites within this small chain of Nurseries. They are open to considering aspiring Nursery Assistants looking to take the next steps in their career, as well as more seasoned practitioners, all encouraged to apply. Education and training can be offered to support Nursery Assistants in qualifying as well.

As a Nursery Nurse Cache Level 3, the role will require you to:
Be a role model, showcasing your knowledge and leading with best practice.
As a Keyworker, ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
Support the room and small team.
Help children with snacks, playtime, and ensure well-being and safeguarding at all times.

All applicants that apply MUST hold a Cache Level 3 or equivalent qualification, ideally have up-to-date paediatric first aid training, and possess recent and relevant experience of working within a Nursery or similar setting. Having access to a car and being able to drive would also be advantageous due to the semi-rural location of this private Nursery.
All applicants must comply with our clearance standards and need to hold or be willing to put in place an Enhanced DBS.
