An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Wessex Genomics Laboratory Service (WGLS - Salisbury) for a full-time fixed term position (for 23 months) as a Clinical Scientist in Cancer. We are looking for a scientist with sound knowledge of cancer genetics and the ability to critically analyse and interpret scientific data.
Key Responsibilities:
HCPC registration.
Experience in G-banding analysis, FISH, variant interpretation (SNV and/or CNV) and reporting.
Experience of WGS analysis is desirable, although not essential.
WGLS is a member of the Central & South Genomic Laboratory Hub. Employment will be with UHS but the role will be based within Salisbury District Hospital.
