Vivienne Westwood is looking for a Bridal Store Manager to join the Sales team in our Davies Street Store on a full-time basis. We are looking for someone to maximize sales and deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures, with a special focus on the Bridal department. The ideal candidate will represent the Vivienne Westwood brand to the highest standard in all professional activities and customer interactions, collaborating effectively with the Bridal and Couture Department to ensure seamless operations and outstanding customer satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Store keyholder – opening and closing the store Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports regarding store performance Cashing up the till and other banking duties Providing excellent customer service Being point of contact for any staff or customer issues Resolving customer complaints in a timely manner Processing product deliveries and stock movements on SAP / PRISM Participating in annual stock takes as well as carrying out line checks throughout the year Processing mail orders, stock transfers, stock deliveries Merchandising the shop floor Having expert knowledge of couture and bridal samples Training new staff in collection range and how to conduct fitting appointments Conducting fitting appointments, confidently suggesting styles to suit customer’s needs Key understanding of which fabrics and colours work best in specific styles and for specific client’s needs, body shape and event location Managing client fitting dates and all communication between them and the couture team during the time it takes to complete the gown Ensuring all stock / Samples are represented on the shop floor in the best way, repaired when needed and requesting new samples when appropriate Managing the archive of samples held in the store, booking in and out and keeping track of all associated costs including repairs and dry cleaning Working with the Press/ Marketing teams with all events held by and at the shop Managing and leading the team, providing coaching, training, and regular feedback to ensure high performance, professional development, and a positive working environment Supervising and motivating staff to deliver exceptional performance and maintain a high level of engagement and morale Managing performance and addressing concerns, including identifying and resolving performance issues in line with company policies and procedures to maintain team standards and accountability. Be fully knowledgeable and adhere to all relevant company standards, policies and procedures (including but not limited to Financial, Health & Safety, Security and HR) Supporting Area Manager / Bridal Director with any ad hoc requests PROFILE & KEY SKILLS Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding expectations. Strong sales and target-driven mindset. Knowledgeable about Bridal & Couture products and able to convey this knowledge effectively. Proficient in till operations, including processing refunds, price overrides, and cash handling. Ability to mentor and assist less experienced colleagues. Strong organisational and time-management skills for managing stock and completing customer orders efficiently. Proficient in capturing and managing customer data for marketing purposes. Skilled in resolving customer complaints and maintaining professionalism. Willingness to learn and participate in training events and meetings. Adherence to company policies, including dress code and safety procedures.
