to join us as part of our team. About the project

The client’s system is a complex ticketing solution that is used by them to sell tickets for the observation deck and an exhibition center the company runs. It consisted of a Web administration application, a media platform, kiosks, and software for physical devices. The Administration application of the solution allowed for managing products (or tours of the company’s locations), modifying these products, configuring promotional campaigns and different sales channels, and handling refunds for sold orders. Work schedule is flexible, but some intersection with team members in different timezones will be required. Scrum: 2-week sprint As a qualified expert, you will

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to QA automation team members; Design, develop, and continuously improve the test automation framework; Develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the overall QA goals and objectives of the organization; Participate in code reviews by reviewing pull requests related to automation code; Provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to coding standards, maintainability, and efficiency of automated test scripts; Integrate automated tests seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline to enable efficient and reliable software delivery; Create and maintain comprehensive end-to-end automated tests, covering both backend and frontend components; Analyze automated test results, promptly identifying and reporting deviations or issues; Gather statistics and report on achieved automation coverage and efficiency; Collaborate with development and QA teams to prioritize and resolve identified defects; Maintain clear and organized comprehensive documentation for automation frameworks, tools, and processes; Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders. 3+ years in a QA Automation role; Experience of creating a test automation framework from scratch; Ability to define a test automation strategy; Hands-on experience with automation tools and technologies like Cypress, TypeScript, Selenide, etc.; Proficient knowledge of REST API; Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and seamlessly integrating automated tests into the build and deployment pipeline; Experience with databases (SQL Server, MongoDB); Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process; Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the development team effectively and with stakeholders; Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of QA automation engineers; Good understanding of QA processes and SDLC including agile methodologies.
