Project Support Officer needed in Kidlington, £17.53ph

PAYE – Reference: 365357 We are planning and implementing a Fire Safety Improvement Programme across all sites. The key parts of the programme are to gather all the Fire Safety information and documentation for each site and building (there are about 160 buildings across the Force) and support the implementation of a Fire Marshal process (with the Health & Safety SPOCs) where applicable. The roles are mainly coordinating roles to ensure we have/gather all documentation/information required to implement the programme and to coordinate (track and report on) the actions from different key stakeholders to ensure all requirements for implementation are being met. The Candidates will report and escalate any blockers or issues into the Health & Safety Team. Ideally, the candidates will: Be Proactive

– a key part of the programme is to gather documentation and information including Building Plans and Local Emergency Plans (and information on Emergency Evacuation Procedures). Have Good Communication Skills

(at all levels) – Candidates will have to liaise regularly with the Health & Safety Team, Local Facilities Teams, Local Health & Safety SPOCs, and local Leadership to gather all the information. Be Organised and Have Good Time Management Skills

– We will be rolling the Fire Safety Improvement Programme out across all sites at the same time so we will need someone who can gather the documentation and information required for all areas in a systematic way. We will need the Candidates to work to tight deadlines and escalate any blockers or issues so we can support. It would be a good to have (but not essential) if the candidates are interested or have some knowledge of Health & Safety/Fire Safety. This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
