Purchaser / Buyer (Progression to Manager)

£35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Company Benefits Package
Are you a Purchaser / Buyer with machined parts experience, looking to take the next step in your career, into a Management position, with fantastic mentoring and training provided to allow you to do so, within a company that truly values its employees?

You will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing process including negotiation, ensuring purchase order accuracy, maximising value effectiveness and keeping up to date with current and future product trends.
This role would suit a Purchasing Manager or Purchaser looking to step up, from a manufacturing background looking for a varied role with future progression opportunities.
The Role:
Liaise internally with all departments as well as existing supply chain.
Sourcing and scheduling of electronic components.
Negotiating and improving pricing.
Participating in production meetings and communicating progress reports with relevant departments.
The Person:
Purchasing / Buying experience within a Manufacturing company
Machined parts experience
MRP systems knowledge
