We are looking for a maternity locum GP to join our friendly and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
15 minute appointments mainly face to face, with some near me and telephone consulting with admin time built into the template.
Participate in daily huddle meetings to facilitate good communication and discuss patients and issues.
Conduct half day duty doctor sessions.
Work with a supportive nursing team, including 3 ANPs who see acute presentations including children.
Collaborate with an experienced admin team who navigate patients to the most appropriate clinician within the multi-disciplinary team at first telephone contact.
Engage with the admin team managing workflow documentation to reduce GP workload.
Assist with medication reviews and queries alongside a practice-employed Pharmacist.
Work with attached staff including First Point of Contact Physio, Mental Health Triage Nurse, Pharmacy team, Well-being Practitioners, Dieticians, Midwives, and District Nursing Team based in the practice.
Attend monthly clinical meetings and weekly Thursday journal club.
