About us Our well-equipped, RCVS-accredited surgery is based inside Pets at Home at the Airport Business Park on Rochford Road. Our great location means we benefit from a good variety of cases and a wonderful loyal client base.
You’ll be joining our Practice Owner and Veterinary Surgeon, Carlo De Vito, who graduated in Italy in 1998 and has a special interest in orthopaedic procedures. Carlo and yourself will be supported by our vibrant team consisting of 2 vets, 1 Head RVN, 1 RVN, a practice manager, and 4 receptionists.
About you You’ll help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard of care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients. You’ll have great communication and organisation skills and take pride in working to a high standard. You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business, as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals. The key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the Veterinary Nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care.
About the role Here at Southend Airport Vets for Pets, we understand the importance of a healthy work/life balance and so we are open to discussions and welcome you to come and talk to us about what shifts would work best for you.
Your working hours will be between 8:30 am to 7:45 pm, with only 1 in 3 Saturdays from 9:00 am to 4:15 pm. There are no Sundays or OOH duties and bank holidays are equally divided, except for Christmas and Boxing Day when we’re closed.
