Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:00) About the Client Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Children's Registered Manager to lead a newly established children's care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children, promoting their emotional, social, and educational well-being. As the Registered Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards. Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Management:

Lead and manage the care home, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality care. Staff Supervision:

Recruit, train, and manage care staff, ensuring performance expectations are met and high standards of care are delivered. Child Welfare:

Safeguard the safety, well-being, and development of all children, working with social workers, therapists, and other professionals. Compliance & Standards:

Ensure compliance with OFSTED and other regulatory bodies, achieving positive inspection outcomes. Care Planning:

Develop and oversee individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs. Budget & Resource Management:

Manage the home's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and financial sustainability. Safeguarding:

Lead safeguarding efforts, ensuring children's safety and protection at all times. Community Engagement:

Build relationships with external partners, including local authorities, schools, and healthcare providers. Policy Development:

Develop and implement policies and procedures supporting best practices in residential child care. Requirements Qualifications:

NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Child Care (or equivalent). Must be Ofsted registered. Experience:

Minimum of 3-4 years managing a residential child care setting. Knowledge:

Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, safeguarding, and relevant legislation/regulatory frameworks. Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent team management and staff support skills. Communication:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with children, staff, and external stakeholders. Problem-Solving:

Ability to make informed decisions, solve problems effectively, and address challenges proactively. Unique Selling Points Performance Bonus:
