Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships to optimise our supply chain performance.
Tasks to include (or oversee)
Chasing all stages of the Critical Path (pre & mass production, ensuring orders arrive on schedule)
Ensure team are managed in a way that achieves our goals
Booking & Performing inspections (flexihours required to accommodate Zoom calls with other time zones)
Freight transportation (Book shipping - Track shipments - Duty control)
Overseeing in-house Quality control and making improvements to reduce loss
Having important and difficult conversations with overseas factories to get better outcomes (around quality, price, deadlines) - must be happy to communicate via phone to overseas factories
System improvements / project management
Researching errors and issues and fixing
Reporting to senior on overall KPI targets
Contracts / terms and policy manager
Decision making skills for high issue / critical problems
Staff training and development
Ensuring replenishment of top selling current stock
Skills/Behaviours That Will Set You Apart
A background in Buying/ Merchandising or Supply Chain preferable.
Proven experience in project management, with a focus on critical path analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including overseas factories, via phone and video call
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Team management skills
Able to work unusual early start hours to cover inspections
Your Mission
Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path activities and dependencies.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with the buying team to ensure deadlines are met
Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and critical path activities.
Utilise project management software and tools to track and report on project progress.
Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.

Pay : £34,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
