Business Development Manager
Holt Engineering is working with a client to secure a highly skilled and dynamic Business DevelopmentManager to join the business. A well-respected engineering business with a global presence, our client has an excellent reputation. The ideal candidate will be a positive and results-driven individual with a strong focus on continuous improvement, excellent proven negotiation skills at a senior level, and international networking and sales experience. You must have an understanding of engineering machinery, components or tooling and ideally the aerospace industry and its processes.
Responsibilities for Business Development Manager
- Develop new market opportunities and contribute to the growth of the business - Utilise international networking and sales experience to expand our business globally - Continuously improve sales strategies and techniques to drive revenue and market penetration - Negotiate at a senior level to secure profitable business deals - Utilise technical sales experience within a manufacturing and engineering sector to drive business growth - Build and maintain excellent rapport with clients and stakeholders - Identify and capitalize on opportunities for new business - Collaborate with the leadership team to drive business success
Qualifications and Experience as Business Development Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field - International sales experience in the aerospace industry is desirable - Proven track record of success in technical sales, preferably within a manufacturing and engineering sector - Excellent negotiation and communication skills with clear verbal and written capability - Strong business and commercial acumen - Technical estimating skills would be advantageous - Ability to think outside the box and drive proactive business strategies - Experience in a pivotal role within a global business environment
