Job Description

Our client, an accountancy practice, is seeking a Group Compliance Manager to join their team in Oxford. This role would suit a candidate who is already working in accountancy practice and who has post-qualified UK experience in a practice team or regulatory body such as ICAS, ACCA, or ICAEW. Ideally, you will have an ACCA or ICAEW qualification, a firm understanding of risk and compliance in the accounting industry, and the ability to manage the company's operational and regulatory risks. Some of your responsibilities will include: Rolling out a company-wide Compliance and Risk strategy. Ensuring that a risk and compliance culture is embedded within the organisation, including facilitating and organising training and communication on compliance matters. Preparation of regulatory applications to ACCA/ICAEW or other regulatory bodies for all new acquisitions e.g. Audit, AML, DBP. Providing clear and accurate reporting with regards to compliance findings and breaches. Providing advice and guidance to partners, managers, and employees on compliance-related queries. Responsible for updating all regulatory policies. Updating firmwide risk assessments and policies and procedures. Coordinating any assessments. A UK driving licence is required to meet the need to travel to all their offices.
