This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates considering a career in teaching within a secondary school in Salford:

Full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant positions.

Working full-time for a year before embarking on a salaried PGCE.

2 year paid programme.

Start date – September 2025 (earlier roles available in some schools).

Graduates of any subject specialisms are welcome to apply for this position.

Full support and training will be provided.

Teaching Personnel has developed a Graduate Teaching Programme specifically for graduates interested in teaching. The programme provides graduates with paid experience in one of our client secondary schools before continuing to a salaried teacher training year through the school trust.

The Graduate Teaching Programme commences in September on a full-time basis and will be guaranteed for a full year at one of our client schools in Salford before starting a PGCE. This programme will provide graduates with invaluable skills and experience necessary to become a successful teacher and will also support securing a position on the upcoming teacher training programme.

Candidates enrolled on to the Graduate Teaching programme will be expected to work as a teaching assistant and cover supervisor working with small groups of students in need of extra support in subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Art, or PE.

Previous experience working with children and young people is desirable but not necessary as full training will be provided.

You must be educated to degree level to be considered.
