We are partnered with a leading food manufacturing and processing business based in Northampton who are looking for a Despatch Supervisor on a permanent basis. The role is hands on and responsible for supervising the despatch department.
Despatch Supervisor
Permanent £14.50 - £15 per hour Monday to Friday 45 hour week or 4 day 40 hour week Northampton
Job Description
Responsible for supervising the Despatch department and ensuring all staff adhere to working procedures and processes. Loading, unloading and palletising. Overseeing the completion of daily production schedules and communicating work instructions to all team members. Evaluating the performance of team leaders and operatives against designated instructions. Liaising with all members of the despatch department to monitor quality issues so that standards aren't compromised. Ensuring comprehensive traceability control. Training and retraining when required.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
Valid Counterbalance Forklift license. Previous experience working within food manufacturing is advantageous as you will be working in a chilled environment.
