We have opportunities for an experienced CNC Programming Engineer to join our company at our Brackley site. We work to the highest standards and our Laminating team are a critical part of managing this and supporting the production areas.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday. Core hours are 8:00am to 16:30pm. We offer competitive rates of pay, company pension, 19 days holiday plus the bank holidays, private healthcare and the opportunity for overtime during peak periods.

The Role: The role is responsible for producing offline CNC programs, using Delcam Power Mill, Setting Sheets, general engineering support and creating 3 and 5 axis cutter paths for a variety of patterns, moulds and Carbon components for the Automotive Industry.

Key Responsibilities: Creation of 3 axis, 3 + 2 and 5 axis cutter paths. Verify cutterpaths and post to an NC program. To create method sheets, tooling sheets, setting sheets, planning and processing drawings, jig and fixture drawings Ensure all routings are accurate, simple to understand and up to date Accurately design using Declam Power shape for jigs and fixtures required for manufacture. Using Vericut to check for collisions ect. Desirable skills & Experience: Must possess a strong engineering background, including precision machining, dealing with low volume, high value complex components Ideally 2 years minimum experience with the offline programming of CNC Milling machines using Declam software package or an equivalent software package. Working knowledge of engineering materials and processing of such materials To have a completely flexible and 'can-do' attitude to all tasks required and working practises Effective team player and communicator
