The purpose of the role: We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to be based out of our Lomondgate site in Dumbarton. This newly created role brings together Planning, Materials, Logistics and Stores to create a best-in-class end-to-end supply chain function, delivering our products and spares at the right quality, time, and cost. The supply chain function will be agile in delivering and maintaining the products for today and meeting the challenges of our greener energy products of tomorrow. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategy and deliver all end-to-end supply chain activities for Lomondgate OEM products, maintenance and refurbs, local and global spares including kitting, engineering new product and service campaigns. Play a key role in defining and delivering a transformational road map, ensuring that our supply chain is best in class and ready to respond to the challenges of the Aggreko strategy. Manage the risk assessment of the supply and customer needs, and develop and implement mitigation plans. Creation and coordination of defined inventory reduction initiatives across the business and achieving product cost savings targets. Optimise inventory levels and drive the investment to ensure maximum efficiency and stock holding to provide an inventory hub to the wider Aggreko Business. Develop a high performing team to implement a best-in-class supply chain function to meet demand and exceed customer expectations. Leadership, development and performance management of the Supply, Procurement, Planning, Logistics and Stores team. What we’re looking for: Strong commercial acumen with excellent influencing and negotiating skills. A team player with excellent leadership and people management skills. Have experience of working with eProcurement, ERP and Microsoft tools (M3 would be extremely beneficial). Strong end to end supply chain experience within a fast paced work environment. Logistics experience and a background of inventory modelling. Experience in a warehousing/stores environment.
