Sessional Job Advert - Division Information: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sessional Therapist to support delivery of our face-to-face outpatient individual therapy and day therapy services. The successful candidate will have at least three years post-qualification experience of working with a range of adult mental health issues. The role will involve the provision of individual therapy to outpatients who require therapeutic intervention and a good knowledge of CBT, risk assessment, and risk management is essential. The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar setting and with a range of common mental health conditions, with specific CBT, CBT-e or DBT skills. Minimum Requirements:
The successful candidate must hold registration with HCPC or accreditation with BACP, BABCP, UKCP, NCPS (senior accredited route only), or ACAT. Desirable criteria:
Due to current demand, ideally we are looking for the successful candidate to offer late-afternoon or evening in-person appointment times during weekdays, and/or weekend appointments. Applications from DBT trained therapists would be particularly desirable as this offers an opportunity to support our 26-week DBT day therapy course.
