Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled Emotional and Behavioral Mentor for a full-time position at an SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in the DN2 area.
Responsibilities
Supporting students with emotional and behavioral difficulties to manage their behavior and emotions effectively Providing one-on-one and small group mentoring sessions to help students develop social and emotional skills Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to create individualized plans for students Monitoring and tracking student progress and communicating with parents and caregivers Requirements
Relevant qualifications or experience in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field Experience working with children and young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties Knowledge of SEMH and strategies for managing challenging behavior Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits
