We are looking to recruit a Supervising Social Worker to join our busy Family Placement Team. The position is part-time, 18.5 hours per week – days covered to be discussed/agreed with the hiring manager.
The candidate will have post-qualifying experience in working with looked-after children and ideally in the fostering service too.
The Supervising Social Worker will be expected to hold a caseload of foster carers and carry out statutory work, supervision, and offer support to carers. See the attached JD/PS for full duties. The successful candidate will work as part of a team and be part of the duty and backup service.
We operate a hybrid working arrangement; however, candidates must be able to be office-based in Bolton or undertake visits to meet service needs.
