Payroll Specialist Salary: £ 45,000 - £50,000 Location:

Full Time, Permanent Baker Finn have been engaged to recruit a Payroll Specialist for a well-established I.T business based in Swindon. The company has gone through a sustained period of growth in recent times and as a result an exciting opportunity has opened up within the Payroll team. As a Payroll Specialist you will be working very closely alongside the Head of Payroll and will be exposed to a number of responsibilities and duties allowing you to further your knowledge. Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist include: Processing 27 Payrolls across multiple European countries. Processing monthly changes including starters, leavers accurately on the Payroll system - (Workday, Dayforce) Reviews and verifies payroll data, calculates overtime and other pay premiums. Responsible for own payroll accounts as well as working in a team environment building strong relationships with payroll providers. Manage and co-ordinate the maintenance of payroll records and files. Completing time and attendance procedures. Update payroll procedure documents and streamline current processes. Ensure that the payroll mailbox is maintained at all times Undertake/assist with ad hoc projects as directed and supported by the Head of Payroll Successful Payroll Specialist candidates will be: Experience within a fast paced, high volume Payroll department Clear and effective communicator at all levels in a professional manner Willing to learn and possess a can do attitude but also be able to use your own initiative The ability to develop strong relationships with other teams Well organised with good time management skills and able to work to tight deadlines If you consider yourself to be a proactive rather than reactive individual, committed, career driven professional who can demonstrate the above experience and who would welcome the stimulus of this finance post then we would be pleased to hear from you.
