Progressive practice based in Lincoln require a new vet to join the partners in practice. They are ideally looking for someone who is proactive and confident with both medicine and surgery, however they will speak with vets of all levels in order to find the right fit for them.
They look after their team and work is structured to ensure a good lunch hour and on time finishing. In the event that this doesn’t happen, they operate an overtime system. They work with 15 minute consults and book many to 30 mins to give enough time to work up cases and have clinical freedom. Care is taken not to book in too many procedures, in order that you can provide your full attention and give a high level of care. They have a daily meeting to discuss the day and make sure everyone is comfortable.
The team have a strong level of experience and have an AVP in surgery, certificate holder in dentistry and currently have another certificate being studied in practice.
The vacancy is for a full time vet with the flexibility to work either 4 or 5 days a week with 1:3 Saturdays shared between the vets. They are also happy to consider other flexible hours and are generous with CPD up to certificate level.
They can also consider more recently graduated vets and will discuss sponsorship options if required for vets with good levels of expertise. They can consider consult only roles too!
If you are newly graduated, they would also like to hear from you. They have an established new graduate CPD plan and have lots of experience with mentorship and support. You will be given the very best mentorship and will not be left alone until you are confident, with 10-12 extra CPD days tailored to new graduates.
There are NO OOH’s and they can accommodate a salary from £34k upwards.
