Manage and oversee the daily operations of the stud farm Handle the foals and stallions Perform grounds maintenance work Operate the tractor Develop and implement breeding programs to enhance livestock quality Monitor the health and wellbeing of all animals on the farm Collaborate with veterinarians for regular health checks and treatments Maintain accurate records of breeding cycles, health assessments, and stock performance Train and supervise farm staff in proper animal handling and care practices Coordinate nutritional programs to ensure optimal animal health and growth Requirements
Experience in livestock management, specifically in breeding operations Strong understanding of animal husbandry practices and welfare standards Excellent organizational and leadership abilities Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays as required Proficiency in using farm management software and record-keeping systems
