Key Responsibilities As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Anaesthesia Monitoring: Overseeing anaesthetics and maintaining detailed records. Clinical Record-Keeping: Accurately documenting patient progress and treatments. Administering Care: Providing treatments and medications as directed by veterinarians. Client Communication: Updating pet owners on their pet's status with clear and empathetic communication. Sterilisation and Cleanliness: Ensuring surgical rooms and medical equipment meet the highest hygiene standards. Veterinary Assistance: Supporting veterinarians during procedures and consultations. Animal Handling: Comforting and attending to unsettled pets. Inventory Management: Monitoring and maintaining stock levels of clinical supplies. Pet Care Education: Sharing tips and advice with owners about both routine and specialist care.
________________________________________ What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will possess the following: Experience: Proven background as a veterinary nurse, including consults, GA monitoring, and surgical assistance. Qualifications: Degree in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent, and RCVS registration. Team Spirit: A collaborative approach to working with a multidisciplinary team.
