We're seeking a motivated solicitor to join our expanding employment law team, focusing on serving private sector clients, from large multinationals to SMEs. This role involves handling a variety of employment issues, often with an international aspect, and offers the opportunity to manage cases independently or with guidance from a supervising partner, including overseeing junior lawyers.
Role Responsibilities:
Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Preparing for and advocating in employment tribunal cases.
Drafting contracts, policies, and advising on employment rights and corporate support matters like TUPE.
Participating in marketing and departmental projects, including seminars and publications.
Technical Skills Needed:
Proficiency in IT, Microsoft Office, and case management systems.
Ability to conduct thorough legal research.
Keeping abreast of legal developments.
Ideal Candidate Qualities:
Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law.
Detail-oriented with a curious mind and open to new challenges.
Strong commercial awareness and time management skills.
Effective communicator, capable of building professional relationships.

We're flexible on location and will consider candidates based from one of our regional offices in either Nottingham, Birmingham, or Manchester.
