Scope of the role We’re searching for a passionate and resourceful Human Resource Advisor to support our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. You will play a pivotal role in our small HR team providing expert advice and support to both employees and management on a wide range of human resource matters. You will work closely with the HR Supervisor executing our organisation's Human Resource plans. Reporting to the UK Group Head of Human Resources, you will have both strategic and operational responsibilities and will help with important functions such as Talent Acquisition, HR Advisory Services, Employee Relations, HR Core Processes and Compensation and Benefits. Key Responsibilities: HR Policies:

Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures including maintenance and guidance of employee handbook. Talent Acquisition:

Hiring top talent, interviewing, administering reference requests, employment contracts, induction packs, for an exceptional onboarding experience. HR Strategic Projects:

Project manage key HR projects such as Employee Value Proposition / Employer Branding, Early Careers programmes. Compensation and Benefits:

Primary back up for payroll validations incl. weekly updates to employee files, bonus and incentive pay, holiday/sick pay in collaboration with finance team. Administer annual pay reviews and benefits administration. Employee Relations:

Coordinate compliance for legal processes, procedures, and legislation. Providing advice and support handling grievance and disciplinary procedures, absence cases and performance management cases. Engagement:

Facilitate engagement programs to support retention from town halls, events, to supporting employee engagement surveys and departmental action plans. Training and Development:

Support company-wide training plans, from conducting training needs analysis to facilitating delivery of training on core HR processes. HR Administration:

Onboarding, new-hire orientations, absence records and return to work, variations to contract, exit interviews, including data entry in our bespoke human resources information system – in line with Data Protection Act (GDPR). HR Reporting:

HR reporting and monitoring of key HR metrics and analytics to assess and improve business performance. The successful Applicant should have: A degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources or a related field. Previous HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or engineering in a similar role. Exposure to full employee lifecycle including advising on Employment Relations. Sound knowledge of HR policies and procedures and UK employment legislation. Excellent communication skills both orally and written. High level of professionalism and discretion. Ability to deal with complex and sensitive cases, maintaining confidentiality. Experience with HR systems and project management incl. MS Excel, PPT, Word.
