About Our Client My client is a circa £100 million turnover family-owned business with a strong heritage in the North West. The business has been steadily growing over the last few years and is always in the market for relevant acquisitions. They have a strong, stable Finance team with great leadership. Job Description Responsible for the production and management of the Company's annual budget, working in collaboration with the Finance Business Partners and department heads. Production of the monthly forecast. Monitoring and forecasting cash flow to allow for management of the Company's revolving credit facility. Analysis of large datasets to provide variance and trend analysis to be included in monthly reports. Preparation of the monthly management reporting packs. Preparation of multi-year business plans as required by the business. Supporting the business with financial modelling required for strategic planning. Ad hoc analysis and project appraisals to support business decisions. Designing and maintaining planning models, cubes, dimensions, rules, and reports. Working with stakeholders, analysts, and our external development partner to understand systems and processes that will streamline the financial planning process and support the internal understanding of financial plans. The Successful Applicant ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified. Strong financial modelling, mathematical, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Experience in using and building financial plans in IBM Cognos TM1 Planning Analytics. Basic understanding of SQL coding would be desirable but not essential. Advanced experience in using Excel for financial modelling and analysis. Good communication, presentation, and time management skills. A passion for process improvement.
