The role is currently a part-time position, 27 hours per week. We are very open to chatting with those who are looking for fewer hours or a flexible working pattern. Currently, there is no weekend work required; however, this may change in the future. Best of all? No OOH is required for this role! The clinic opens from 08:00 - 18:00 with phones being transferred to Vets Now to ensure everyone gets away on time, whenever possible. A Bit About Us and Our Fabulous Team
Wolstanton is a practice with great facilities including 4 consult rooms, cat ward, dog ward, operating theatre, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and access to endoscope if needed, an Imagyst machine for in-house cytology analysis, meaning we can get results back from FNAs etc within 2 hours, as well as access to SignalPet which uses artificial intelligence to provide support interpreting radiographs. You’ll be working alongside our wonderful nurse team; we have 2 vets who have been qualified for 2-15 years. We hold the ISFM silver award for cat care and the IVC Evidensia patient safety award. Our veterinary team enjoys all aspects of general veterinary practice. High-quality clinical care is of utmost importance to the team; they even thoroughly enjoy staged dentals. The clinical team routinely conducts audits, ensuring that they are always working towards gold standard first opinion pet care. Strong Support for Amazing Care
We have a very strong management team who are keen to train and develop our team. We have a clinical lead nurse who is responsible for maintaining our patient safety awards and promoting clinical improvement and quality of care. We hold regular practice, vet, nurse and reception meetings for open discussion. We're also a cat-friendly clinic and offer certificate opportunities for personal development, ensuring there is a 12-month plan of in-house CPD of the team's chosen subject areas. Treats a-plenty!
One of the best parts of working at Wolstanton is our close-knit, enthusiastic team.
