Biochemistry – Sample Reception Assistant

Full Time The role of Sample Reception Assistant is focused on supporting the laboratory team. Receiving diagnostic samples from veterinary clients, our sample reception team are critical to the timely processing of cases received into our laboratory. The Sample Reception Assistant will assist in the daily workload as assigned under the appropriate technical supervision, striving to drive customer excellence in all internal and external activities. A Sample Reception Assistant should be able to work well with relevant supervision and also work effectively as a key team member to maximize the overall service delivered. A flexible ‘can do’ approach is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities

Unpacking and checking of diagnostic samples Accurately record details of samples received from Veterinary clients Work flexibly and collaboratively Adopt role model behaviour, values and beliefs Personal Attributes
