The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of multi-site M&E maintenance services mainly in the Peterborough & Cambridge areas. Managing the day-to-day running of the Contracts with dedicated Contract Support and a team of in-house engineers also working with specialist sub-contractors.
Your role will be to oversee all aspects of the operations of our Contract Customer’s planned maintenance, breakdown and repair requirements to their M&E facilities.
The core focus of this role is from a Hard Services perspective (built environment, mechanical & electrical compliance, building services etc.) and it is essential you have this experience & qualifications to manage our customer’s statutory compliance.
You will be supporting the day-to-day maintenance and implementation of policies, procedures and programs that will ensure a well-managed, well-maintained service and deliver a safe working environment for our customer’s staff, colleagues & visitors.
Key Responsibilities
As the main point of contact for the customer, you will develop excellent working relationships and seek to understand their business needs and requirements.
Manage and co-ordinate all activities within the contract whilst ensuring the site team and all sub-contractors are managed to meet service levels and any contractual SLA’s.
Ensure that the services provided are fully compliant with statutory regulations, taking responsibility for Health & Safety standards, producing RAMS, and carrying out regular site audits.
Work closely with the client on all aspects of service delivery for both project and maintenance works, carrying out monthly meetings with the client.
Develop existing customer relationships and generate new customers, presenting yourself and our organisation in a professional manner at all times.

Person Specification/Qualifications
Strong and proven experience of delivering Building Services (M&E engineering, HVAC, Control Systems etc.) with knowledge of statutory compliance and direct line management of staff.
Sub-Contractor engagement and management ability.
Knowledge of computerised maintenance systems (CAFM/CMMS).
Exceptional communication skills, ability to interact effectively with peers, direct staff, suppliers, and our customer’s representatives.
Ability to effectively prioritise, multi-task and have a flexible approach.
Excellent people skills, able to motivate and inspire colleagues, direct reports, and sub-contractors. High levels of self-motivation, technical inquisitiveness, enthusiasm, and commitment.
Can work well under pressure.
Driving licence is essential.
Terms Salary £56,000 - £60,000 (negotiable) depending on experience and qualifications. Salaries are dependent on previous experience, qualifications and are reviewed annually.
Working Hours & Holidays 5 days per week, from Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm. 22 days paid holidays plus statutory days, rising to 23 days after 5 years service and to 25 after 10 years service.
