The Role: As the Production Operative you’ll report to the Head of Operations and will be primarily responsible for leading the blending shift and assigning team resources in order to execute the daily blending plan as set out by the production planning and logistics schedule. Ensuring that activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, following company processes, maintaining quality and providing leadership in all regards.
In the job you’ll be tasked with the following:
Acting as the appointed fire marshall
Writing and reviewing of new site SOPs and conducting annual review of all blending SOPs
Ensuring equipment is in line with care standards
Ensuring housekeeping standards are adhered to
The administration of tanker receipts and dispatches
The standard working hours for this position are rotating weekly and consist of the early (5.00am-1.30pm), late (1.00pm-9.30pm) and the nights (9.00pm – 5.30am).

The Candidate: The ideal candidate for this Production Operative role will have relevant experience of working different shift patterns.
You’ll also need experience of:
Leading a team
Working within a production facility
Executing the daily production plan
Ensuring tasks are carried out in a safe manner
In addition, you’ll need the following:
Leadership, communication and organisational skills
Good literacy and numeracy skills in order to read and understand instructions
A positive attitude when presented with any issues
A hands-on approach and a ‘from the front’ management style
Ability to work with a shift pattern and under pressure
